MODDING BASICS AND THEORIES

HI!!!!
So basically, this thread is created for me to share some basic theories and what-to-do's on modding, mods, and pens.
THEORY \the-o-ry\
: an idea or set of ideas that is intended to explain facts or events
: an idea that is suggested or presented as possibly true but that is not known or proven to be true
: the general principles or ideas that relate to a particular subject
Statement 1:
COG IS ESSENTIAL. Know the COG of your pen! This is a very very very very very essential for your mod. Use it to your advantage! First up!
If you know the COG of your mod, it will be easy for you to do tricks. The mod spins through your fingers around the COG. So if you know the COG,
It is pretty much of an advantage. (eg. Spreads, Power Tricks, and pretty much everything)
Statement 2:
MARKERS DO HELP. Marking COG actually helps! They help you in hitting the spot. (Yes it feels sexual, but yeah it's true!!!!)
Statement 3:
COLOR SCHEME BOOSTS SPIRIT AND AESTHETICS. So yes, color scheme is very good way of adding some aesthetics both for the mod and the video itself.
It also helps the mod to be an "eye candy" to the judges and to others.
Statement 4:
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF MODS ACCORDING TO WEIGHT. One that is center-oriented and lateral-oriented. Technically, they are both mods but they are very much different.
When you use Center Oriented Mods, it will seem that you didn't add any weight at all but once you spin it, you will know and feel the significant difference.
Usually, Center Oriented are not that heavy but have great momentum once you spin it. On the other hand, Lat Oriented Mods are the total opposite.
The direction of the weight is towards the lateral aspect of the pen. Perfect example for Lat Oriented Mod is Buster CYL and for the Center Oriented Mod is Cheat Comssa.
Statement 5:
GRIPS HAVE WEIGHT TOO! Yes, you heard it right. Grips have weight too. Even the lightest and the tiniest grip you add to those caps will have an effect to the weight of
the mod. Remember, 1 kilogram is made up of 1,000 grams.
Statement 6:
PUT SOME SPACE! Heyya! You should never ever ever ever put up too much of those grips and weights on a mod. It consumes spinning area. Make sure to lower down the space
consumed for the spinning area to be big. It actually helps!
Statement 7:
PRECISION IS THE KEY! Yeah, no more words to express that! Haha.
Statement 8:
COG ON COP! The center of gravity on center of pen is what makes DC mods very easy to spin. In that case, mods like Firefly have their COG on COP that's why it spins like DC but is actually SC thus, making it very easy to spin (not mentioning about the very fragile structure of Firefly)
EDIT: Chiben is awesome as heck. That's all.

Hope this helps!
